03

Last Chance

During a 15-minute break, golfers outside the Top 8 may purchase three more balls at the event and try to improve their distance. Price to be announced.

Official tournament rules

Qualifying round

Golfers hit one at a time. Each golfer receives six balls and two minutes to hit all six. The golfer's single longest in-bounds drive is their qualifying score. Out-of-bounds balls do not count.

Top 8 and Last Chance

The eight longest qualifying drives advance and are seeded #1 through #8 by distance. A 15-minute break separates qualifying from the bracket. During that break, golfers outside the Top 8 may purchase three additional balls at the event and have one minute to hit them. A qualifying Last Chance drive can replace a golfer in the Top 8. Last Chance is not sold during online registration; its event-day price will be announced by RRI. When the period ends, the leaderboard is frozen and the final Top 8 are seeded.

Elimination bracket

Quarterfinals pair #1 vs #8, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6, and #4 vs #5. Each golfer receives three balls per matchup, with the two golfers alternating shots. The longest single in-bounds drive in that matchup wins; the other golfer is eliminated. Winners advance through semifinals and the championship until one Swing for 6 Champion remains. Previous-round distances do not carry into the next matchup.
